Eating in Seaport North
From Raisfeld and Patronite, a gorgeous guide to South Street Seaport dining : "Entrepreneurs, drawn by Front Street’s potential to become the next Stone Street... are bringing estate-grown wines, buffalo mozzarella, and Fair Trade coffee to a neighborhood Joseph Mitchell would barely recognize." Indeed.

The Alternatives to Shake Shack Map
It's not the sexiest implementation we've ever seen, but let's face it, we're suckers for all things Shake Shack and all things Google Map. Hence, the above. (The Paupered Chef is blogging about the alternatives , too.)

Menupages + Google Maps = Goodness
Now we're talking. Will Schenk writes , "I live in New York City and I eat out a lot... It often happens that I'm little for something in a neighborhood and there no good way of doing proximity exploring ... So I decided to take my favorite site, menupages.com , which has the menus of these places online, and plug it into google maps."
The interface is somewhat primitive, but it's immediately the most useful Google Maps mashup for NYC dining we've seen yet. Very nice.
