SAN JOSE— Japan's uber-popular Ramen Yokocho Festival is heading to San Jose for the first time: Eater SF reports the event will feature many popular Tokyo, Fukushima, and Hakata ramen shops, including Kohmen, Hide-Chan, and Tatsunoya, alongside familiar stateside ramen restaurants like LA's Tsujita. Ramen burger inventor Keizo Shimamoto will also be on-hand, serving an inverted version of his cultishly beloved dish: something called "burger ramen." Tickets are $5, with bowls of ramen available a la carte. More information here. [Eater SF]
