Looks like Guy Fieri is trying to drum up some positive Yelp reviews for his upcoming Vegas restaurant Guy Fieri's Vegas Kitchen & Bar. The mayor of Flavortown is hosting a "Meet & Eat" this Thursday (the restaurant's slated opening night) and "inviting 20 lucky Yelpers in to be the first to experience the 'flavor-tastic' food of his new restaurant." Attendees will get the chance to have their photo taken and mingle with Guy and maybe talk about Rolaids.

There's a small catch, of course: Yelpers wanting to attend the free event must have a profile with "a real photo and full name" plus have "recent reviews." While the event is ostensibly an opportunity for the restaurant to bank a bunch of positive Yelp reviews, the restaurant is currently rated 5 stars on Yelp, thanks to a single rave review that describes the food (presumably eaten at some sort of pre-opening event) as "off the chain delicious." The reviewer also claims to have watched Fieri fire an employee for texting because "That's how the successful roll. "
The lone Yelp review also has pictures of previously confirmed dishes like Vegas fries ("tossed in buffalo seasoning and wing sauce") but there's no pictures yet for global fusion dishes like pulled pork tacos, sliders, and "General Tso lollipop chicken wings."
