Last night on the Daily Show correspondent Aasif Mandvi filed a special report on fracking and visited the Pennsylvania county where Chevron offered residents coupons for a free large pizza and soda after one of their gas wells exploded. Mandvi visits Bobtown Pizza — aka the "county's first responders" — whose owner sold 100 certificates to Chevron totaling $1,000. Mandvi also speaks with residents complaining of contaminated water, rashes, and a host of other ailments. Like Chevron, he tries to solve the problem with pizza: "Regulatory reform is going to take forever. Pizza? 30 minutes or less." Mandvi concludes pizza is a viable strategy for solving the problems of fracking, saying "the solution is as easy as pie." Go, watch:
