The stunt-burger-makers at Des Moines, Iowa's Zombie Burger + Drink Lab celebrated comedian Jim Gaffigan's Des Moines tour stop by making his "dream burger" a reality: A Hamburger Today brings first word of the "Undead Gaffigan Burger," a hamburger featuring up to five beef patties (representing each of Gaffigan's kids), cheddar, fried jalapeños, bacon, and baconnaise on grilled Texas toast. (The burger gets its name from the fact that every dish on Zombie's menu flaunts some kind of zombie-flick reference.)
Zombie chef Tom McKern collaborated with Gaffigan via Twitter, asking the comedian back in November what he'd want to see on a tribute burger. (Gaffigan requested the jalapeños because "I'm a hot Latina!") The burger's available on the Zombie menu all this week, and Gaffigan himself stopped by today to eat one, although it appears he only committed to one beef patty.
