BOSTON— As previously reported, chef Barbara Lynch will cook up two fundraising events on behalf of her Barbara Lynch Foundation, and as the gala weekend approaches (February 6 and 7), tickets still remain for both the multi-course Relais & Chateaux Gala and the more-casual Toques & Tonic. At the former, Lynch will team with the likes of Kristen Kish, Daniel Boulud, Gary Danko, and Michael Tusk to prepare the multi-course dinner (reservations are $1,000 and available here). The $225 Toques & Tonic, meanwhile, will feature 30 different food and beverage stations manned by David Chang, Sara Jenkins, Marc Vetri, and Michael Voltaggio. More information here. [EaterWire]
FOOD TV— Telemundo will soon unveil its version of Top Chef, though one that features Spanish-language celebrities instead of actual chefs: Top Chef Estrellas (produced by Magical Elves, the same team behind the Bravo version) will debut on February 16 with eight food-inclined celebrities competing to raise money for charity.
