The other day news came that the San Francisco Chronicle was closing down its food section and rolling it into a new "lifestyle" section. And here's a Q&A with Audrey Cooper, the managing editor of the Chronicle. Quote: "I think we have a few advantages—that we have Michael Bauer and his staff, and we have access to the thought leaders in the food category.
