Chicago chef Homaro Cantu has signed a deal with Little, Brown to write The Moto Cookbook, filled with recipes from his Michelin-starred avant-garde restaurant of the same name. The publisher tells Eater the book will focus on the restaurant's first decade, and will feature ten recipes per year. Included: "Innovations such as edible paper, the indoor farm, and tableside cooking of individual dishes in the Cantu-designed polymer oven." So, uh, don't try these recipes at home?
This will be Cantu's second book. His first, The Miracle Berry Diet Cookbook, came out in January of this year. It focused on using miracle berries, which make food taste sweet, as a way to eliminate sugar from your diet. The Moto Cookbook will come out in 2014 or 2015.
