Closing arguments have been made in the lawsuit filed by Macy's against rival JCPenney over the latter's 2011 merchandising deal with Martha Stewart. In his remarks, a former JCPenney CEO claimed that Stewart's representatives repeatedly assured him that their licensing deal would not infringe upon Stewart's already existing agreement with Macy's. According to the New York Post, a ruling in the long-stewing legal battle is expected "soon." [NYP]
