Hold onto your root beer glazed meatloaf spring rolls with garlic wasabi mayo, Las Vegas, because Guy Fieri's coming to town. The mayor of Flavortown told the Las Vegas Review-Journal he's opening an as-yet unnamed restaurant at the Quad, which is owned by Caesars. It will apparently be near "the world's largest Ferris wheel," says Fieri. "And I get to be the restaurant in the front of it? I'm stoked."
As it's early in development, there aren't too many details available. Fieri says the restaurant will have "high ceilings and huge glass windows overlooking the Strip" with "an eclectic mix of food in a real fun environment." Which is super vague, but okay. Fieri apparently graduated from UNLV in 1990 and has an honorary doctorate from the school. Does that mean everyone in Vegas has to call him Doc? The restaurant opens later this year.
