In an interview with The New Potato, NYC meat man Pat LaFrieda spoke to his relationship with the restaurants that use LaFrieda meats. On supplying Guy's American Kitchen and Bar: "If a chef does a poor job in representing our brand, there's little that we can do. Case and point [sic], Guy Fieri's worst review ever, by Pete Wells in the New York Times. They mentioned us by name! ... We gave the meat to the restaurant. If they're that bad at their job then their customers will dictate that and they'll be out of business. It's not for us to determine." [TNP]
