Presented without comment: Thomas Keller did an interview with HuffPo San Francisco writers Robin Wilkey and Aaron Sankin, and let's just say he had some ideas about what he wanted to — and didn't want to — discuss. When asked about the degree to which Napa had changed since The French Laundry opened in 1994, Keller responded:
"I think that's pretty much common knowledge; you can find that on the website. Did you do any research on me whatsoever? I'd rather just talk about what you really want to know."
Happily for everyone, they did have some things they wanted to know, including Keller's thoughts on Corby Kummer's infamous tasting menus rant, the construct of the celebrity chef, baseball, and more.
