Today we return to Italy's capital city Rome and focus on eight restaurants, pubs, wine bars and, naturally, gelato shops that are garnering serious buzz. As was the case last time around, local food writer, blogger, and dining app editor Katie Parla has shared her thoughts on these picks for the hottest dining her city currently has to offer. Among the selections, there's the revamped, more extensive menu at Monti wine bar La Barrique, plus a combination restaurant/salumeria/wine bar/bakery/food shop Romeo that has been drawing in the crowds since opening in November.
