Today we return to Melbourne, Australia, and focus on six newish restaurants that have been garnering serious buzz. As was the case with the last edition nine months ago, local expert Sharlee Gibb has made the selections for the buzziest dining her city has to offer. Among the choices: Andrew McConnell and Josh Murphy's set-menu-only restaurant in the Builders Arms Hotel (Moon Under Water), a rowdy and fun spot doing great burgers (Rockwell and Sons), and three Italian-inspired entries (Neil Perry's Rosetta, Chris Lucas' Baby Pizza, and Rita's Cafeteria).
Here now, the Eater Heatmap to Melbourne, a chronicle of the city's restaurants of the moment.
Tried any of the places on the list or feel there are any glaring omissions? You know what to do.
