Oh boy, it is very nearly time for Wednesday's season premiere of Top Chef: Seattle, so why not go ahead and spoil the first 10 minutes? Bravo offers a sneak peek at the premiere with three clips in which it's revealed that once again, Top Chef is whittling down its crop of would-be cheftestapants before the competition begins. It would seem that each of the judges are taking a batch of chefs to evaluate and determine whether they deserve a chef's coat: Some are working a service at Tom Colicchio's Craft in Los Angeles, while others make soup for Emeril Lagasse at Table 10 in Las Vegas.
So what's the deal with some of these chefs who may or may not become actual Top Chef contestants? Well, John Tesar talks about how D Mag called him "the most hated chef in Dallas" but that he "came up with the Mario Batalis and the Bobby Flays" and Anthony Bourdain once called him "probably one of the best national chefs he's ever worked with." Meanwhile, San Francisco chef Lizzie Binder hits on Colicchio, saying, "Tom is a very tough judge. Also he's gorgeous, he's got lovely beautiful blue eyes. Can you say that about the judge?"
