And not only that, but the bottles will bear Forgione's signature mohawk in silhouette. Both wines under the label are French; one is the 2010 Felines-Jourdan, Picpoul de Pinet from Languedoc and the other is the 2009 Alain Gueneau, Sancerre Rouge from Loire Valley. The wines will be poured at Forgione's upcoming American Cut restaurant at the Revel Casino in Atlantic City and will be sold at Chambers Street Wines in New York. Here's a press release:

February 15, 2012 (New York, NY) - Today, Iron Chef Marc Forgione announces the release of his very own private label wines. The wines will be poured at his award-winning Tribeca restaurant Marc Forgione, at his soon-to-be-opened restaurant American Cut in Atlantic City and available for purchase exclusively at Chambers Street Wines in Tribeca via his newly launched website www.chefmarcforgione.com.
The Marc Forgione wines include the 2010 Felines-Jourdan, Picpoul de Pinet from Languedoc, France and the 2009 Alain Gueneau, Sancerre Rouge from Loire Valley, France.
"These are wines we have poured by the glass since our Tribeca restaurant first opened and they are the wines I personally enjoyed drinking after service over the years. We decided to work with these great wine growers to bottle a label for everyone to enjoy," offers Chef Marc Forgione.
Chef Marc Forgione has earned a Michelin star in 2010, 2011, 2012 for his eponymously named New York City restaurant making him the youngest American-born chef and owner to receive the honor in three consecutive years. The restaurant also holds a two-star rating from The New York Times. Prior to opening the award-winning restaurant, he served as chef de cuisine at BLT Prime, and played a key role in the openings of BLT Fish and BLT Market as well as the Washington D.C., San Juan, Puerto Rico and Dallas locations of BLT Steak. In 2010, he earned the coveted Iron Chef title after winning Food Network’s Next Iron Chef competition. He will open his next restaurant, American Cut, at Revel in Atlantic City this spring.
