West Coast chefs are shaping up to be the hot ticket for Fall cookbook season 2013. Josh Skenes from San Francisco has a book in the works, John Gorham from Portland does too, and now it's been announced that San Francisco chef/restaurateur Traci Des Jardins of Jardiniere will have a book coming out as well. According to Publishers Marketplace, the book will be called Kitchen, Cocina, Cuisine and will focus on her French and Mexican background and "the trademark innovative California cooking that grew from it."
Des Jardins tells Eater, "I always wanted to write a book for the home cook, and I'm finally getting around to it. I'm approaching it from the perspective of a consumer rather than a professional chef." The book will be written with Rachel Holtzman and published by Ten Speed Press.
