Ness is a restaurant recommendation app for iPhones from Ness Computing that works kind of like how Netflix recommends movies: basically, you rate restaurants between one and five stars, and then Ness guesses which restaurants you will love/hate. The recommendations are based on a "likeness" score, which is the app's percentage guess as to how likely it is you'll enjoy a restaurant. The more you use it, the more accurate it gets. And if you end up not liking the restaurants it recommends, you really only have yourself to blame. Similar to Google's "Places" (née Hotpot), it's just so much prettier.
