Ready for another sugary gross-out courtesy the New York Department of Health? Their latest food scold ad reminds you that "a daily routine of just a few sweetened drinks can accumulate to a whopping 93 packets of sugar by the end of the day." Apart from one horrifying shot of "the serious potential health consequences" of diabetes (a particularly gnarly-looking foot), it's not as bad as their earlier fat-oozing ads. The commercial will run through February 22 and will be accompanied by subway ads depicting sugar packets that turn into liquid fat as they're poured into soft drinks.
