Your Home Kitchen Might Fail a Restaurant Health Inspection

It's not just restaurants that are trying to kill you. It's your own damned laziness and unsanitary ways! A study has shown that many home kitchens would not stand up to the scrutiny applied to commercial food businesses. The California-based study showed that a mere 61% of households would pass the same health inspection applied to restaurants, while 98% of Los Angeles eateries receive a passing A or B letter grade.

Amidst monstrous recalls and demands for increased regulation, perhaps it's worth brushing up on your own food safety skills as well. Or at least before inviting us over for dinner. Seriously, throw out that old sponge.
