Special Plywood Update: The Latest Progress From Delicatessen / MacBar
Thursday, July 10, 2008, by Amanda
Soho: It's been almost two years that Soho has been awaiting the arrival of Delicatessen and the adjacent MacBar located in the old greasy spoon Buffa's, and we're finally seeing some major progress. The most recent report came from Joshua David Stein who spotted the reveal of a yellow and glossy facade, noting it looked like a combo of Cafeteria and S'MAC. Today a special correspondent notices a few more signs of life here including more construction and a delivery entrance. We're almost beginning to believe we'll actually have our "international comfort food" and "15 variations of mac and cheese" sometime this year. Heavens.
