Meanwhile on the Bruniblog
Monday, July 21, 2008, by Amanda
Bruni has some new lady friends to dinner, one of whom works as a high priced concierge. She tells Bruni about the resys that even she can't get: "Babbo is one of the banes of her existence...she regularly calls and tries to sweet-talk her way into a table, but never has any luck. No wonder: Babbo books up as much as a month in advance, never has trouble keeping its seats filled, and doesn’t cultivate a super-refined image...She has only limited luck with the Waverly Inn. Ditto for La Esquina..." [Diner's Journal]
