Over the last few months we've been noticing some alarming practices at cafes and coffee shops, the usual go to wifi spots for bloggers, writers, and poor schmucks whose internet is down. Many, like Tazza (pictured), Aroma, and Tisserie ban laptops during prime hours. Others simply neglect to maintain their systems. Starbucks recently jumped in the game but only offers their services for free for the first two hours. Meanwhile, more bars throughout the city are ramping up their wifi to get more people through the door. People, consider this trend spotted. Thanks to our new mapping capabilities here at Eater, we've compiled a visual of just some of the bars jumping on the wifi bandwagon. Know of any more? Tell us and we'll add them on.
