Teary Shutter Signage: Les Deux Gamins

West Village: Les Deux Gamins, the French bistro on the corner of West 4th and West 10th Street had a bad meeting with the DOH on April 29th, and it looks like they just couldn't get things back on the rails. The place announced it was shuttering for good over the weekend per the above teary signage. This isn't such a big surprise for the local chain that has opened and closed locations in Greenwich Village, Chelsea, and now the West Village in the past few years. But if you're a fan, there's still East 5th Street's Le Gamin, which is tangentially related to the failed locations but run by different owners.
