MONTAUK—This image above of Sam Talbot's newest venture, Surf Lodge, comes courtesy of our Hamptons field team, just back from an East End recon mission. Sister site Gridskipper will be broadcasting live from The Lodge next weekend, and it appears that plans for a Memorial Day weekend debut are intact. As of last week there were reports that the kitchen team wasn't even assembled, but we're guessing Talbot has his act together by now. For a nightlife venue in the Hamptons, the seven-day rush to Memorial Day Weekend is like fraternity hazing. Jamie and Co. will sleep next Tuesday.
