The Shutter: Jamaican Flavors

Greenwich Village: We are not sure how or when this happened, but over the weekend two separate tipsters alerted us to the fact the Jamaican Flavors, the jerk chicken house and NYU lunch spot on Sullivan between Bleecker and West 3rd, is shuttered. Given the evidence of a 'For Rent' sign already in the window, and a listing as closed on Menupages, we'll say Greenwich Village lost this one at least a week ago. Thank god the kids still have Peanut Butter & Co., Mamouns, and the Dosa Man.
