The Evolution of Yelp
Tuesday, April 29, 2008

2008_04_yelp.jpgIn an effort to become more friendly to the businesses it glorifies/bashes Yelp has released a new set of tools allowing businesses to participate (kinda) in the online festivities in the following ways: "Message customers who have reviewed their business, see how many prospective customers viewed their business page, update business information instantly...[and] receive new review email alerts." We're not quite sure that this new system allows businesses to "fight back" since most of these are common sense moves, but hey, small victories? [TechCrunch via Eater SF]
