Williamsburg Wants Booze For All

In one of the most anticlimactic community board meetings witnessed by Eater, last night the Williamsburg CB1 members approved all 42 new and renewal liquor license requests, including those of Pies & Thighs and Pig & Egg (a.k.a. Egg), a new place called Action Burger, and a new bar Greenpoint Social Club. Looks like not every neighborhood makes new restaurants plead their case for the right to sell booze.
