Looks like Brooklyn Borough pres Joseph Chirico isn't the only one having trouble with the Feds these days. Straight from the comments re: the shuttered East Side steakhouse Blair Perrone: "A friend of mine was in their superbowl pool and it got closed right before the big game. he lost his money but a friend of his who knows the owners, said they were shut by the Feds. Rumored to have been closed because they were making the rent doing a little more than food.... the rumor is that they were pushing cocaine out of their place...rumored in the kilo size. sounds crazy but what else would explain a sudden shot. A friend of mine said there were tons of armed feds all around the place one day." There was some suspicion earlier about the involvement of a government agency, but this cocaine bit is new. We'll sniff around for more.
