Just a week after Roy Liebenthal debuted Pop Burger in Midtown, words comes via the tipline that Pizza Bar, his Meatpacking District semi-shitbox pizza/club hybrid (also the venue involved in a shooting in July), has closed. PR confirms it: "Roy sold back the lease... that Apple store made people a ton of money. It was good timing for him and a great opportunity for him to focus on expanding the Pop Burger brand nationally." For those looking for a bit more intel, the Kamali had the property listed thusly, as recently as five weeks ago:
