The NY State Liquor Authority has just moved to suspend the liquor license of Meatpacking club PM (above), following numerous hearings and PM's continued failure to get along with neighbors. The suspension will go into effect on January 2, 2008 and last 30 days. Although the club has become something of a fixture in the area, crowds and reputation have declined of late. We'll posit along with the tipster who sent this one in, "I know they've been having some major problems with their neighbors regarding loud music but I wonder if this will put them out of business for good?" Mutlets, we'll leave it to you to pick up the pieces from here.
· Order of Suspension: 50 Gansevoort [SLA; .pdf]
