Deathwatching: Gin Lane Likely Finished

Until there's a new name on the door, one never can tell just how over it is at a MePa club. But with a phone going unanswered, a downed website and an OpenTable page that's temporarily offline, it looks like it's the end of the line for Gin Lane. The MePa-adjacent restaurant and club had been trying to bring old school back for about 15 months, but it never took off—and as such got itself Deathwatched in August. Perhaps the worst part of this is that Gin Lane is the venue that took over for the Village Idiot, a fallen classic.
